Reynolds Leads PRIME AE’s Engineering Practice

Erik Reynolds joins PRIME AE as the Director of the firm’s Building Engineering Division. With 24 years of experience in engineering, healthcare design, management, and administration, Reynolds will be responsible for business development, strategic planning, and partnerships to grow the firm’s mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural engineering services throughout Ohio, Maryland, and Florida.

During his career, Reynolds has worked extensively in the healthcare market sector designing and managing numerous small to complex projects ranging from $500K to $1 Billion. His vast experience includes the 120,000 SF Pediatrics Relocation at the Cleveland Clinic Children’s Institute in Cleveland, Ohio; the 2,000,000 SF Moffit Cancer Research Center in Tampa, Florida; the 65,000 SF Sebastian River Medical Center in Sebastian, Florida; the 402,500 SF Brooksville Regional Medical Center in Brooksville, FL; the 5,000,000 SF Qatar petroleum Complex in Doha, Qatar; the 3,300,000 SF EPIC Medical Records Systems Corporation Learning Center Campus in Verona, WI; the Linear Accelerator Infill at The James Center Medical Center at The Ohio State University; and the Education Backfill at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

Reynolds earned his Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the Virginia Military Institute. He is involved with several associations including the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers, American Society for Healthcare Engineering, and Northeast Ohio Society for Healthcare Engineering.
