Well Field and Water System Evaluation/Upgrades

To provide an additional 3,000 gallon per minute (gpm) of potable water capacity and related distribution improvements, PRIME AE performed comprehensive evaluation and design development services for the Town of Rotterdam wellfield system. Work included review of existing hydrogeological information, hydraulic modeling analysis, SCADA design, site survey and layout, evaluation of existing pump and well performance, fifth well pump design, and water system improvements to integrate a new fifth well into the existing mechanical, piping, electrical, and control systems while meeting new flood resiliency criteria.

The Town is proceeding with bidding and construction of the well house, pump installation, and interconnection of the new well to the existing well field piping. PRIME AE is providing construction oversight and contract administration services.
