TopGolf is a dynamic entertainment center that features a golf-based game where players of any age and skill level can earn points by hitting micro-chipped golf balls at giant targets, all while enjoying a full-service kitchen, multiple bars, TV, and more. This concept was brought over to the U.S. from the U.K. in 2005, with over 50 TopGolf locations globally, seven of those residing in the state of Florida. TopGolf has won countless awards, including the local distinction of “Bold City Winner for Best Business.”
PRIME AE began working with the initial TopGolf Jacksonville concept first and then continued working through the mini-golf course update. The game required large underground targets, which posed a challenge considering the site’s high ground water. This led the project team to design an intricate underdrain system and stormwater pump to facilitate drainage. Proper drainage helps to keep the targets locked in place, preventing them from rising out of the ground over time.
Our team’s attention to detail on the unseen infrastructure of Jacksonville’s TopGolf facility ensures a fun and entertaining experience for visitors.
