The Chapel-South Campus

Full programming, master planning, and architectural design services were provided for this project, incorporating worship, education, fellowship, and recreation facilities.

The project is situated on an 80-acre tract of land with wooded and wet land areas. Protection of the natural surroundings was critical, and neighboring residential areas were provided with ample natural buffers.

The new worship center was initially designed to accommodate 1,800 worshipers with a second phase expansion to accommodate 2,300 worshipers, while providing adequate space for Sunday school (children through adults). A large fellowship atrium is centrally located to all major functions and acts as a “town center” for users. The complex also includes a full-service kitchen, cafe, and coffee shop allowing dining for both small and large events.
