The renovation project transformed the former Hoover manufacturing facility into a new home for Faith Family Church. This church, founded by the couple in 1988, had its humble beginnings as a Bible study in a borrowed basement. In 2005, the church underwent a name change from Canton Christian Fellowship and decided to embark on the journey of constructing a new building.
The design not only revitalized the previous industrial appearance but also created a welcoming atmosphere for church members, families, and the wider community. The sanctuary boasts a seating capacity of 4,000 and is equipped with high-quality audiovisual, sound, and lighting systems typically found in theaters.
Portions of the building’s exterior were enhanced with glazing and new entrances, allowing natural light to brighten the inner concourses. Internally, the building is divided into east-west and north-south concourses, which serve as essential way-finding pathways throughout the structure, extending seamlessly from the main entries. Adjacent to these concourses, you’ll find various facilities, including classrooms for children’s ministry, amenity spaces, and church offices.
