NAS New Orleans Installation Development Plans

NAS New Orleans Installation Development Plans

Charting the course

In preparation for the next two decades, an Installation Development Plan (IDP) was prepared for Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base New Orleans. This consolidated document seamlessly integrates strategic installation planning and real property development specifics, addressing both current and projected mission requirements. The IDP serves as a guiding framework, steering the installation towards a unified planning vision and program. This approach increases alignment with mission sustainment, security and safety, environmental stewardship, energy reduction, and capacity for accommodating future mission growth.
