The MyNavy Career Center underwent the renovation and adaptive reuse of Building S241 to provide improved Human Resource service to all Sailors, their familiar, and future recruits. The vision for the facility is to offer 24/7 self-service options, call center availability, shared service capabilities, and transactional HR support. PRIME AE provided full design plans and specifications, construction cost estimates, and associated engineering services for the renovation.
To provide the best working environment for employees, the renovation included the complete replacement of all building furniture, existing structure, and stairwells. The new design provides open offices for contact center agents and management personnel as support spaces and upgrades to building systems. An elevator was added to improve accessibility. The comprehensive renovation encompassed sidewalks, utilities, and landscaping.
