Meadows Northland Arlington (MNA) Neighborhood Improvements

PRIME AE has been involved in multiple phases of the MNA project in Lexington, Kentucky. The project aims to improve the infrastructure and pedestrian facilities in the neighborhood.

In 2014 PRIME AE completed the engineering design for MNA phase 5D. Design Improvements included many different infrastructure upgrades starting with sanitary, storm, and roadway with new sidewalks. In 2015-2016 PRIME AE completed the design for LFUCG’s Division of Engineering with the engineering design for MNA phases 5E and 5F. Design improvements included raising and lengthening the vertical curve of Bryan Avenue to improve sight distances at the intersections of Carlisle Avenue, Locust Avenue, and Jordan Avenue. Other infrastructure improvements will include sanitary, storm, and sidewalk upgrades along Bryan Avenue as well as new sidewalks, driveway aprons, and roadway resurfacing along Park View Avenue. Phase 6A-1 of the project completed construction.

PRIME AE has continued to provide engineering design services for MNA 6A-2, 6B, & 6C to assist LFUCG’s Division of Engineering in the coordination and design for storm, sanitary, roadway, and pedestrian facility improvements for this CDBG funded project.

Project Achievements

PRIME AE’s engineering design work for the MNA project has made significant infrastructure upgrades to the area, including sanitary, storm, and roadway improvements, as well as new sidewalks. Their design improvements have also enhanced safety at intersections with improved sight distances and included upgrades to pedestrian facilities.
