When Sheetz, a favored destination for fuel and food among regional drivers, decided to establish a new location in Ohio, PRIME AE was ready to provide assistance. With a property secured along I-71 at exit 69, our expertise in zoning, site planning, and design expertise came into play as we embarked on the construction of an 8.8-acre facility. The vision for the new transportation hub included fueling stations for retail gas and diesel trucks, along with a new convenience store and restaurant.
PRIME AE worked in collaboration with Skilken Gold in the planning process to develop a project scope, encompassing surveys, site reviews, permitting requirements, civil engineering, and construction plans. Considerations were made for stormwater management, pollution protection plans, landscape design, accessibility, and existing infrastructure that would need to be managed to make the site operational.
As a consultative partner, we recognized the importance of developing a comprehensive yet realistic outline to serve as the blueprint for the actual construction. Once the construction documents were approved, PRIME AE worked closely with Sheetz to coordinate construction RFI’s (Requests for Information) and provided guidance throughout the site build process.
Today, Jeffersonville, Ohio boasts a state-of-the-art retail gas and diesel truck fueling facility complete with a convenience store and restaurant to accommodate all needs of travelers passing through.
