Interstate 75 is one of the oldest, busiest, and due to the region’s hilly topography, most challenging highways serving the greater Cincinnati area. PRIME AE provided construction inspection, contract administration, and CPM schedule review of the rehabilitation of I-75 and the surrounding corridor to improve traffic flow and safety in the area.
Over the course of the project, our team planned for the rehabilitation and widening of the mainline of I-75, collector distributor roads throughout the corridor, and interchange and intersection improvements. This project was built in 7 maintenance of traffic phases with the reconstruction and reconfiguration of three interstate interchanges – Glendale Milford Road and I-75 interchange, Vision Way and I-75 Interchange, and Shepherd Lane and I-75 Interchange. The project also included the realignment of Newman Way and the addition of three roundabouts on Newman at local intersections. The rehabilitation required extensive and close coordination with local stakeholders, particularly GE Aviation, whose Cincinnati facility is located on the eastern side of the project.
As a result of our team’s careful management and planning, traffic flows more freely and drivers travel more safely along I-75.
