GE Oil & Gas, a division of GE, is located in the Cecil Commerce Center in Jacksonville. At this location, the Becker rotary control valves and Mooney flow grid regulators are manufactured. These valves and regulators maintain pressure and flow control for almost any gas or liquid and range in size from that of a dime, to a one-story house. In this facility, GE incorporates advanced manufacturing processing technologies to foster the innovation of these and other oil and gas products.
Situated within the expansive AllianceFlorida at Cecil Commerce Center, one of Florida’s largest industrial parks, this facility occupies a prime location. The building benefits from its strategic placement within this industrial park, providing convenient access via the recently completed high-speed I-10 interchange and its close proximity to three intermodal facilities. It also marked a significant milestone for the city’s entry into the rapidly growing energy sector.
The facility provides GE the opportunity to use advanced manufacturing practices to meet their customers’ growing technology needs faster, while bringing new job opportunities to the area.
