Established in 2001 within Sarasota’s upscale Lakewood Ranch area, this 128-room full-service hotel initially operated as a Holiday Inn before undergoing a transformation into an Intercontinental Hotels Group (IHG) EVEN HOTELS. Our focus during this rebranding was centered on embracing the brand’s ethos of “Enabling Wellness in Travel,” emphasizing hallmark elements throughout the refresh project.
The first-floor redesign prioritized a strategic relocation and expansion of the athletic studio, seamlessly connected to the WELLcome Island and Lobby—an inviting space featuring a vibrant green wall and a serene water feature to warmly welcome guests. The former restaurant and bar area underwent a remarkable metamorphosis, emerging as the trendy Cork and Kale restaurant, complemented by a spacious market to offer a fresh dining experience. Upgrades extended to meeting spaces, pre-function areas, restrooms, and selected back-of-house regions.
Renovations within guestrooms and corridors adhered to the new brand prototype décor package, incorporating shower conversions and the installation of water stations along the corridors as part of the comprehensive project.
The exterior enhancements included a new patio adjoining the front entrance, refreshed building paint colors, updated pool finishes, and amplified entrance canopy features infused with branding elements. Additionally, an ADA survey and evaluation were conducted to include inclusivity and compliance.
Carefully curated interior finishes, lighting fixtures, and furnishings meticulously selected by our interior designers were instrumental in aligning with brand guidelines, crafting a modern, relaxing, and rejuvenating environment.
Every aspect, from the revitalized spaces to the thoughtful interior design, aligns with our dedication to wellness-focused hospitality.
