The Embry Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) master plan articulated a grand vision for the university. Its goals included accelerating growth of enrollment and facilities, transitioning to an R&D university, and a deeper commitment to the student experience. As the institution’s chosen master planning and landscape architecture experts, members of the PRIME AE team worked closely with the university to cultivate the emergence of a campus at the pinnacle of functionality, experience, and aesthetics, while embracing the mission set forth by ERAU leadership.
The success of the master plan is grounded in our firm’s design and capital planning expertise, which provides support for projects to be programmed, funded, and constructed. To date, the 5- and 20-year master plans have provided a foundation for unprecedented university growth in capital projects and a 27% increase in enrollment. We’ve supported the completion of the Mori Hosseini Student Center, a new campus quadrangle, athletic facilities, residence halls, and the College of Arts and Sciences building, in addition to addressing transit needs, supplemented with wayfinding and signage.
In our ongoing role as the campus master planner, we continue to deliver detailed assessments for new improvements to promote consistency with the university’s master plan, compliance with its guidelines for exterior campus elements, and continued execution of the vision for the university.
