Weaving Two Unique Hotel Experiences Into One Building
Aloft and Element Hotel
Midtown Tampa has become an expansive, dynamic, and centralized 22-acre coastal oasis that encourages savvy travelers to live, explore, and thrive within its borders. The dual-branded Aloft and Element hotel by Marriott captures the bursting energy and vibrancy of the area’s culture by weaving two unique hotel experiences into one building.
This hotel features 226 guestrooms, which incorporates a minimalistic yet impactful design that makes use of natural materials and colors. It offers in-room kitchens and oversized closets encourage guests to stay as long as they like while the rooms offer more of an eclectic contemporary getaway. Overall, the hotel design premise emphasizes the restorative power of connecting with nature through sophisticated spaces that invite guests to explore the tranquility of the white sandy beaches and the emerald gulf waters of the Florida coast.
Hotel guests are welcomed to a common “Jump Lobby” with separate elevators for each brand leading them to the 6th Floor, where they immediately experience their designated brand’s public space – each with its own distinctive design concept featuring check-in, lobby, lounge, and casual dining. Element Brand features natural wood tones with a more subdued color palette, while Aloft Brand introduces vibrant colors and mixed materials to emulate the Midtown Tampa nightlife.
A grand, open stair links the 6th Floor public space to the 7th Floor/Rooftop. It highlights the most luxurious aspects of the hotel – a place where guests can relax and recharge with a signature cocktail at the rooftop bar, have dinner at the fashionable restaurant, or simply lounge by the adjacent outdoor pool and patio. The vibrant shimmer of the Tampa Skyline in the distance ensures an unforgettable experience for every guest.
