As the AEC industry evolves, responding to the growing need for improving project delivery efficiency and effectiveness through technology and increased pressures on sustainable, resilient, and responsive projects, so does the importance of investing in our employees.
As we continue to grow at PRIME AE, we want to ensure that we are always focused on providing opportunities for professional growth and advancement for our team members, whether that is working on projects that excite them or feeding the passion we all bring to solving our client and communities most challenging infrastructure projects. This starts with a strong foundational knowledge of the entire continuum of responsibilities, processes, procedures, and expectations that come with being a project manager.
Over the last year, PRIME AE has invested significant time and resources in the development of an updated Project Execution Program. Comprised of streamlined, improved, standardized processes and procedures, a Project Execution Manual and extensive training program incorporating both internal and external trainers have been invested in.
Made up of 21 project manager candidates, representing seven offices and four business lines, the inaugural program kicked off on September 1st and 2nd in Jacksonville, FL. The program, in partnership with PSMJ trainers, provided a two-day session of interactive discussion around the importance of leadership, communication, and process to succeed during the project life cycle from pursuit identification through project close out.
We look forward to supporting this cohort of PM trainees as they navigate the follow-on 10-week internal training program and help to position themselves for continued growth and positions of greater responsibility and leadership in our firm.
Superior delivery of innovative, responsive, and on-budget projects is the core of our business, and the project manager is the trusted professional who ensures success every time.
