PRIME AE is pleased to announce that Architect Richard “Rad” Delaney, AIA, LEED AP®, F. SAME, has joined the firm, where he will serve as Director of Mid-Atlantic Architecture Services.
Delaney brings 36 years of successful design, program, and project management throughout the United States, including providing design and construction management services to local, state, and federal government agencies. His extensive experience includes the $12M USACE Norfolk, Department of Defense Educational Activity (DoDEA) IDIQ; $35M CentraState Medical Center Expansion, Freehold, NJ; $3M USACE Louisville District A/E IDIQ; and the United States Coast Guard, National Multiple Award Construction Contract (NMACC).

Delaney comes to PRIME AE after spending time as a principal architect with a large architecture, engineering and construction firm in the Washington, DC area, where he led high-level contract negotiations, client relationship development, and program and project management of large federal projects throughout the United States.
Delaney holds a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and is active in the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) where he is a Fellow. He currently serves on SAME’s National Board, as a Director and past president of the Philadelphia Post, and as a Director for the Baltimore Post.
