PRIME AE Welcomes Mike Geer as Vice President, Air Force Lead

PRIME AE Group, Inc. (PRIME AE), an award-winning architecture, engineering, and construction management firm, has announced the hiring of Mike Geer as Vice President, Air Force Lead for the firm’s Federal Programs operations. Geer will have immediate responsibility for the maintenance, development, and growth of PRIME AE’s growing Air Force portfolio.

Geer has experienced diverse managerial, leadership, and technical successes at a variety of levels and in numerous international locations throughout his 25-year civilian and military service. Most notably, his role as Director of Engineering at Osan Air Base, Korea, where he had direct responsibility and oversight of the US Air Force construction program in Korea, and as Division Chief, Design and Construction in San Antonio, Texas, where Geer led a division of engineers—three branches, inclusive of approximately 30 engineers—within the headquarters of the Air Force Civil Engineer Center charged with the management and execution of projects across the Air Force command.

He has led teams in a wide range of activities including facility and infrastructure maintenance, real property accountability, environmental protection and restoration, space management, and emergency response.

Geer holds a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Penn State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering form the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He has completed MBA studies at Seoul National University and PhD studies in Civil Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Geer is a registered Professional Engineer and Project Management Professional.

Geer is an active member of the Society of American Military Engineers, the MIT Educational Council, and the Society for Science.
