PRIME AE Strengthens its Connection to the Community

We are proud to announce our partnership with Habitat for Humanity. This partnership will blend the financial, volunteer, and advocacy resources of PRIME AE to help Habitat continue its mission of building affordable housing and revitalizing neighborhoods in which we live, work, and thrive.

On Thursday, December 16th, President and CEO Kumar Buvanendaran along with Chief People Officer Pamela Butziger and Senior Vice President of National Transportation Sam Minnitte attended the groundbreaking of the vacant lot of the 1100 block of Ward Street in Baltimore City, MD with Habitat leaders and community partners. At this Home for the Holiday ceremony, the PRIME AE team presented Habitat with a life-size check in the amount of $28,722.72. These funds were raised by employees who donated accrued paid time off (PTO) to a general pool to be used to benefit a charitable organization. PRIME AE then generously matched the employees’ donation 100%.

Chief People Officer Pam Butziger says, “We had amazing participation in our inaugural PTO donation event to this great organization. The generosity of our employees is humbling and gratifying.”

At the presentation, Habitat also honored PRIME AE as a house underwriter for the new construction project.

PRIME AE employees will continue their support to Habitat for Humanity by attending additional build days scheduled throughout 2022.
