PRIME Acquires Braun & Steidl Architects

PRIME is pleased to announce that it has acquired Akron, Ohio-based Braun & Steidl Architects, now operating as a Studio of PRIME AE Group, a 25-person architecture firm focused on hospitality, housing, religious, higher education, K-12 schools, public, corporate, and historic restoration markets.

With 35 years of industry history, Braun & Steidl Architects’ work has supported many significant projects including:

  • Edge 1120, Toledo, Ohio – Design Architect for an eight-building mixed-use residential complex for university students and young professionals.
  • FirstEnergy Center for Advanced Engineering Technology, Akron, Ohio – Design Architect of an 88,000 SF state-of-the-art laboratory to support training and evaluation of new technology to support the region’s transmission service needs.
  • Cuyahoga Community College Advanced Technology Training Center, Cleveland, Ohio – Design Architect of this LEED Gold building that includes new classrooms and laboratory space to support Tri-C’s advanced and sustainable engineering and workforce development program. This project won the 2015 AIA Akron Honorable Mention Design Award for New Construction of this project.
  • The Natatorium, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio – Architect of Record for the development of a 116,000 SF new community recreation and wellness center featuring medical wellness, fitness, aquatics, and community meeting spaces.
  • Renaissance North Hills Hotel, Raleigh, North Carolina – Interior Designer that created a sophisticated and expressive interior for the hotel located in a premier shopping, dining and entertainment complex.
