Jerrels Joins PRIME AE as Vice President of Maryland Architecture & Engineering

PRIME AE  is pleased to announce that Architect Jeffery Jerrels, AIA, LEED BD+C, NCARB has joined the firm as Vice President of Maryland Architecture and Engineering (A&E). In this role, he will be responsible for the growth and success of the practice, which includes architecture, interior design, roof and envelope consulting, and building engineering services.

Jerrels brings 33 years of architectural design, quality management, and business development experience in both the public and private sectors, his market experience includes transportation, higher ed, corporate, Department of Defense and public safety. His extensive experience spans across the United States, Europe and the Middle East, his project experience includes the $84M P3 Purple Line Transit Partners LEED Silver Purple Line Operations and Maintenance Facilities project; $187M design-bid-build LEED Silver Multi-Agency Service Park in Montgomery County, Maryland; and $16.5M LEED Silver USACE Design-Build, Medical Educational Training Facility in Fort Sam Houston, Texas.

Jerrels earned his Master of Science in Engineering, Construction Management at Catholic University, and his Bachelor of Architecture at Howard University, both located in Washington, DC. He is a registered architect licensed in Maryland, Virginia, Ohio, the District of Columbia, Louisiana, Georgia, and Florida and is a member of the American Institute of Architects and the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards.
