Heidler Joins PRIME AE’s Roof and Envelope Practice

PRIME AE is pleased to announce that Charles (Chuck) Heidler has joined the firm as Senior Director of PRIME AE’s Roof and Envelope practice. He will provide expertise in roof and envelope management and operations for PRIME AE’s Architecture and Engineering Business Line that supports the healthcare, higher education, K-12, federal, and hospitality markets.

Based in the firm’s Akron, Ohio office, Heidler brings more than two decades of experience in conceptualizing, designing, and implementing roof solutions which will be key assets to PRIME AE as the firm continues to expand the roof and envelope practice.

Prior to joining PRIME AE, Heidler worked on behalf of clients, manufacturers, and contractors having served as Corporate Architect, Product Manager, and most recently Product Development Director for a major roofing manufacturer. He planned and implemented roof and envelope technology applications to roofing and building envelope projects throughout the United States.

Proven to be an innovator and leader, Heidler was granted a United States Patent for Roof and Wall Coping System and Method, a system used to cap and protect walls on building rooftops and to enhance the building’s overall appearance. He is a registered Architect licensed in Ohio and a registered Roof Asset Manager. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Architecture and Bachelor of Architecture with a Minor in Business Management from Kent State University. Heidler has been a Professional Member of the American Institute of Architects since 1989 and point-of-contact for the AIA Continuing Education Program.
