Maddy is a jill of HR trades so to speak, where she works to enhance the employee experience. She completes reporting and metrics for the HR team, manages the employee onboarding and offboarding process, and everything in between: including if a team member is going from full-time to part-time or from part-time to full-time; the status changes that come with promotions, or assistance to benefits enrollment to name a few. Maddy knew she wanted to go into HR when she was in college and had the opportunity to work in recruiting right out of college where she saw the entire lifecycle of HR firsthand.
When we asked what she is most proud of in her professional experience, Maddy quickly and excitedly replied “Here at PRIME AE, I feel like I’ve truly made a difference. There’s still a lot of progress to be made, but I feel like I’ve made a lot of difference in our employee onboarding. When an employee starts, they have a full team of support and I can truly make it a welcoming, inviting experience for the new hire, that’s what I’m most proud of.”
Outside of her work, Maddy finds enjoyment in reading self-improvement books and listening to music. One of her recent reads “Crucial Conversations: Tools for Talking When the Stakes Are High” by Patterson, Grenny, Switzler, and McMillan, has proven to be an invaluable resource for both personal and professional interactions. Maddy remarked, “It’s focused on ways to get through those really tough conversations with confidence.” When it comes to music, Maddy’s love for the art form knows no bounds. She embraces every genre and appreciates the music of every decade.
