Daniel (Danny) Davis, PE will be joining the firm, serving as Senior Vice President of Virginia transportation operations out of the firm’s new Richmond office. He will be responsible for overall project management, design, and business development for the area.
Davis brings 27 years of successful design and management experience throughout Virginia and for over 16 Departments of Transportation and the Federal Highway Administration. His experience includes work on major interchanges and bridge structures from design through construction, including design-build. His extensive work includes the $28M Richmond, Virginia I-64 over Route 156 (Airport Drive) Bridges ABC project, $60M design-bid-build Popp’s Ferry Road Bridge in Biloxi, Mississippi, and the $240M New Orleans, Louisiana Florida Avenue Bridge design-bid-build project.

Davis is a professional engineer licensed in several states including Virginia. He earned his master’s and bachelor of science in structural engineering from the Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama. Davis has authored and co-authored numerous publications and presentations for the International Bridge Conference, Roads & Bridges Magazine, American Concrete Institute Conference, and more.
