Costello Joins PRIME AE as Senior Director

Donald Costello, PE joins PRIME AE Group (PRIME AE) as the firm’s Senior Director of New England Bridge Design. Working out of the firm’s Wethersfield office, Costello will be responsible for overall project management, design, and business development for the New England area.

Costello brings 32 years of successful design and management experience throughout Connecticut and surrounding states, and for several Departments of Transportation and local Cities and Towns. His experience includes design of all types of structures including complex, simple, rail, and trail, and from design through construction, including design-build. His extensive work includes the $350M ConnDOT Pearl Harbor Memorial Bridge, $95M ConnDOT Atlantic Street Railroad Bridge, RIDOT’s $32M Rehabilitation of Six Bridges, and the $20M NHDOT Highway Bridges on the Frederick E. Everett Turnpike.

Costello is a professional engineer licensed in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, Rhode Island, and Pennsylvania. He earned his master of business administration from the University of Connecticut, and bachelor of science in civil engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
