Fostering Meaningful Change
Our people recognize the profound difference their professional skills and talents can make when it comes to helping in their respective communities. We actively engage in various initiatives, including charitable projects, conservation efforts, and aiding in the recovery from natural disasters to support and uplift our neighbors.
Volunteer Time Off (VTO)
We place great emphasis on encouraging our employees to engage in meaningful and purposeful community engagement opportunities within their localities. That’s why we implemented a volunteer time-off policy to be used to donate our team members’ time and talent to recognized charities, causes, or not-for-profit organizations that matter most to them. Here are just a few examples of the impactful ways in which our team members contribute their time:
- Building a house for Habitat for Humanity
- Donating time at a local food bank
- Environmental or community clean-up efforts
- Coaching and mentoring students
Habitat For Humanity
Our partnership with Habitat for Humanity seamlessly combines the financial, volunteer, and advocacy resources of PRIME AE to support their vital mission of constructing affordable housing and revitalizing neighborhoods. In particular, we are proud to contribute to Habitat Chesapeake in the Baltimore metro area. Our dedicated team members actively participate in multiple building days, including special events such as Women’s and Veterans Day builds. By joining forces with Habitat, we aim to make a tangible and lasting impact, assisting in the creation of thriving communities and enabling more individuals and families to access safe and affordable housing options.
Paid Time Off (PTO) Donation
As of December 2021, we introduced a new initiative that empowers our team members to make a difference by voluntarily donating accrued Paid Time Off (PTO), which is then matched 100% by the company. This program not only aligns with our industry’s values, but also serves as a means for us to give back to our communities. It complements the year-round hands-on volunteering efforts that many of our team members do with their local Habitat organizations. By extending our support beyond physical involvement, we provide an additional avenue to contribute to the betterment of our communities.
Our Holiday Giving program allows team members to support their local communities during the November and December months. This program offers various opportunities for our employees to support those in need by collecting toys, food, and clothing. Through the collective efforts of our team members, we strive to spread the spirit of generosity and impassion, making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
