Laura enjoys continued relationship building and rewarding projects with her clients, partners, and dedicated staff. Her commercial experience includes school and office building additions/renovations, interior space planning and design. Her private residential design experience includes custom homes and additions/renovations of all sizes. Sustainable design, interior design, and lighting accessible design (including aging in place) are Laura’s areas of particular interest and expertise.

Fueled by her acceptance into the Leadership Maryland program, Laura takes an active role in the community, proactively seeking opportunities to make a positive community impact. She serves as a Commissioner for Baltimore City’s Commission for Historical and Architectural Preservation (CHAP) and a Board Member of Metropolitan Baltimore’s Building Congress & Exchange (BC&E) Foundation Board. She serves as Mentor Team Leader for ACE Mentor Program of Baltimore.

Laura has been acknowledged for her commitment to her architectural work and making community impacts through leadership, community service and mentoring. Honors include: Baltimore AIA President’s Award – Community Architect of the Year; Circle of Excellence, Maryland’s Top 100 Women by The Daily Record; and Circle of Excellence Beacon Award, top honor of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW). She has also received a Baltimore SmartCEO BRAVA! Women Business Achievement Award and a Girl Scouts Distinguished Women Award.
