PRIME AE Receives ACEC/MW Honor Award

PRIME AE received an Honor Award from the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) of Metropolitan Washington for the Strategic Alliance to Meet Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Mandate. Sudhanshu Mishra and El Hadji Fall, both of PRIME AE’s Water Group, accepted the award on behalf of PRIME AE.

About the Project: The Maryland Department of the Environment issued a Phase 1 MS4 NPDES permit to Prince George’s County, Maryland, which requires the County to meet the MS4 NPDES mandate. The permit requires restoration of the Chesapeake Bay and improvement of local water quality. PRIME AE was contracted by Prince George’s County Department of the Environment to assist in the programmatic approach to meet the overarching goal of meeting the MS4 NPDES mandate by initiating and implementing various innovative environmental programs.
