Bridge Inspections
PRIME has 18 professionally registered structural engineers, many of whom have significant inspection experience. PRIME has inspected more than 1,000 bridges since 2007 and combined, individual staff members have inspected more than 8,000 bridges in their careers.
This experience includes bridges of all types, configurations, and all construction materials including steel, concrete, prestressed concrete, timber, and stone masonry. These range from small box culverts, pipes, and masonry structures to simple steel or concrete girder bridges to large steel trusses, segmental concrete bridges, and cable stayed bridges among other “signature” type bridges. PRIME has performed inspections for the US Army Corps of Engineers; the Maryland, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts’ DOTs; Maryland Transportation (Toll) Authority; Maryland Transit Administration; and the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority.

Facility Condition Inspections
PRIME has performed numerous assessments of buildings, sites, and facilities throughout the United States for such clients as USACE, ICE, NASA, City of Columbus, and The Ohio State University. These assessments can range from a single component such as roof or pavement condition to full facility condition assessments. PRIME has a strong team of engineers and architects with many years of experience in the review of existing facilities for repair, renovation, and/or adaptive reuse.
