Owings Mills, Maryland Office

NBIS Inspection Team Leaders and Team Members
We are currently seeking qualified Bridge Inspection Team Leaders and Team Members for Bridge and Ancillary Traffic Structure Inspection projects in VA, MD, PA and Nationwide.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications as a Team Leader and preferably holds a Professional Engineering License
  • Minimum 6 years’ experience (Team Leaders) and 2 years’ experience (Team Member) in bridge inspection, design and/ or Analysis
  • Completed the 2-week NHI Bridge Safety Inspection Course
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Team player with excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • A desire to travel (limited basis)

Marketing Coordinator
We are currently seeking a Marketing Coordinator to assist our Corporate Marketing Manager in our Owings Mills, Maryland office. In this position you will work with architects and engineers to develop marketing materials, support conference trade shows and related events, but most importantly coordinate proposal efforts.
Requirements include:

  • Bachelors Degree in Science, Engineering, or Marketing/Communications with at least 2 Years of Experience
  • Strong Organizational and Communication Skills
  • Strong Computer Skills (Office and Adobe Products)
  • Excellent Verbal, Written, and Interpersonal Communication Skills
  • Knowledge of SF 330 / SF 255 Forms is a Plus

Civil Engineer
Job located in Owing Mills, MD. Design or prepare plans for new transportation systems or parts of systems highways, streets, drainage structures. Prepare construction plans for erosion and sediment control and obtain Federal and State Government approvals. Perform inspections of highway structures pursuant to federal and state design guidelines and regulations. Create drawings and Technical specifications, laying out the geometry of Highways and streets using AutoCAD, Microstation, Geopak, AutoTurn, ArcGIS, and HCS 2000. Knowledge of AASHTO, MUTCD design guidelines is essential. Proficient in highway hydraulics, drainage design using TR-20, TR-55, Flow Master, Culvert Master. Experience in developing models using HEC-RAS is a plus. Prepare cost estimate for various state and federal projects using Cost Estimator. MS in Civil Engineering Reqd. Prior experience not necessary but must have knowledge in AutoCAD/Microstation. Offered salary is $71,000 P/Y. Construction Inspectors for the Baltimore Metro Area.  Interested applicants should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in construction inspection, certifications from the Mid-Atlantic Regional Technician Certification Program (MARTCP) for soils and aggregates, HMA field, concrete field; American Concrete Institute (ACI) concrete field testing; SHA Erosion and Sediment Control Certification (Yellow Card); MDE Green Card, and a valid drivers’ license. Senior Structural Engineer
PRIME is offering an exciting opportunity for a Senior Structural Engineer to help staff our new Virginia office. The candidate will assist us in the management of current contracts for bridge design, bridge maintenance and repair, bridge load ratings, and bridge and ancillary inspection contracts. Excellent growth opportunity for a Junior Bridge Engineer with 3-4 years of experience. Experience in bridge design, bridge inspection/rating, and bridge rehabilitation is a plus. Excellent communication and inter-personal skills required. Proficient in the use of MicroStation/AutoCAD desired.
